The Founder asked me to take a break for the day.I was going to ask why, but I remembered that today was special for me.
It is still such a wonder seeing many beings celebrating milestones of their lifetime. Makes me wish we still had that kind of thing when we were all under my great-grandfather’s influence, but I guess being so focused on the mission makes you forget all of the formalities that these humans would normally uphold.
Or maybe it was because of how much he genetically altered himself and everyone else who were involved in his project a long time ago, because he resented the way he existed.
And then proceeded to amass his army from there on out until his fate.
Asides from that, we had a lot of fun though. I played UNO against the Founder and won three times in a row, did piñata with a body of one of those Goddamn purple dinosaur figures, and played a drinking game using footage of the elevator people failing the incinerator courses in 6166 and 7213. We went through fifty bottles by the time we got to the end of the compiled footage, and most of us weren’t even phased by it.
C.M.
Is Kelley's relay working so far?
Yeah, that relay mod you gave me has been working pretty well in the Abyss.
Surprisingly the places that the elevator travels to aren't too far out.
There isn't a sense of anything when it comes to the dark.
No way to gauge how much time or how far you have to travel in there.
That is true. Reality does behave differently there.
Has there been anything new with the phenomenon?

Speaking of the elevator, I went down to Floppy Shoppy a while back to ask the shopkeeper some questions about someone I keep hearing about from Pilby.Turns out, it circles back to the damn figure from my dreams. The rabbit hole is deeper than we anticipated.
That said, I’m certain she (who I now know as Folly) understood the literal definition of “on sight” the moment she manifested in the real world for me, knowing what kind of trouble she caused for Pilby from the past few times I’ve heard.
Surprisingly, you can fight pure malice with enough power.
Well, I would have if I knew better where to strike beforehand.
I've met some interesting people associated with the elevator.
Who?
There's this concrete fellow I met, that weird shopkeeper, and a doctor who went to prison.
Interesting...
What about the one in your dreams?

There was no fear in her eyes. And rightfully so for the most of it.Three times my left arm was ripped out, two times for my right arm, one swing towards her back and then some not-so-friendly exchanges. All while she was trying to put words into my head, but that wasn't working in her favor at all.Furthermore, she then hastily retreated back into the mist after saying her last words. I was initially confused, but I figured out why she did it later on. If there's one thing I can value of her, it's that she fought well as if I was going up against the emperors.I got back to base after that day. Had my limbs replaced, since she tore them up pretty damn well after the fight. Founder checked up on me, but I reassured him that I was fine.
Oh. That figure?
I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you.
Hm. Did she say something?
Something along the lines of "whoever you're working for is truly magnificent."
You saw what happened between the two of us.
I did. I almost had to intervene.
I think that's why she knew and backed off of you for now.
... I see.
Today we finally got to see the halo of the Judge manifesting for the first time ever.
It couldn't be anymore perfect on her birthday as well.Put simply, the Halo is just a sign that one's power has matured well alongside the Eternal Committee.Typically one's power would be unique among all others, which would differ the look of their halo, but Carolina’s a bit different since the Hammer is the combination of the remaining power of Lord Avarice, freshened up with the help of Fate and Thanatos II.
You're certain you don't need additional help?
Likewise. You don't need to worry too much, and I don't think we want anymore of our people in harm's way because of an elevator.
If you say so. Just be more careful next time.
Wouldn't want you nearly dying again.
Yeah, yeah... I'll stay safe.

Well, here's to another year of travelling across the Continuums, making new friends and deals with enemies, partying with the committee, killing my great-grandfather and the emperors for god-knows-how-many-times, and trying to figure out why and how the elevator is entering our domain.
This should be another fun year though. We have a lot more to discover.I hope we don't enact another contingency this year. That one time was enough of a threat as the empire itself.
— Carolina "Ostrum" Mach. Insider of the Continuum. Successor of Great Avarice. The Ascended Light. Judge of the Committee. Apostate of the Devil.

My work continues.
That's a lie. That was the second time we saw it.
Her first halo manifestation was during that one day.
It wasn't supposed to do that initially?
Not at all. I asked both of them, even going to the ghost.
None of them had a clue.
... Interesting.
Concerning.
Think you can recall what happened?
The last I remember during that mission, I was running out of time.
It wasn't the amount of work I had to go through that was the problem during that day, oh no.It's you. You owe me.
I was a bit careless.
It's alright. No one was ever made perfect. Not even us.
They always make a few mistakes in their lives. You don't actually owe me, for the record.
Though, I will tease you for letting that happen while serving the committee.
... Great.
Ostrum, my dear. The time has come.
You must be ready to leave with your relatives. He has come for us at last.
But he is just one man against all of us, Allfather.
This is no ordinary man. He is the third hand of God.Remember what we have taught you.
In due time, you will become the force of a greater good.
... I understand.
Everyone bleeds. We will make God bleed. No matter what.
